Bonsoir. Matchday 10 gave us five upsets and three games that needed overtime to settle, plus a nine-goal explosion in Guadalajara that buried Havana. On continue. Let's get into it.

GND 4 — TOK 3

The Waypoint produced a result close to the modest home favoritism, 1.49 to 2.65, in a seven-goal game that needed overtime to settle.

The first period was scoreless and combative—Mei Fujita and Brian Mercer fought, coincidental majors—the period's only event of note.

The second produced five goals. Sōta Watanabe opened the scoring for Tokyo, 1:29, Mei Fujita assisting, before Yūma Hayashi and Bridget Walsh fought, five and five. Gus Maloney tied it for Gander, 4:41, Dermot Power assisting, and Liam Coish put the Geese ahead at 11:10, Vera Tobin with the feed, before Mio Kobayashi tied it again, 11:45, Mei Fujita with her second assist. Sakura Shimizu tied it for Tokyo in the third, 11:50, Haruto Nakamura assisting, after Calvin Roebothan and Yuki Sato fought, five and five. 3-3 into overtime.

MUM 4 — MDE 2

The Salt Pavilion produced a result close to the modest home favoritism, 1.76 to 2.08, Rahul Nair's two-goal night the difference.

Rahul Nair opened the scoring at 13:09, Arjun Patil assisting, after Mariana Zapata and Arjun Patil fought, offsetting majors, and Kavya Iyer and Mateo Arango followed with another set, also offsetting. 1-0 after twenty.

Santiago Restrepo tied it for Medellín early in the second, 1:15, Mateo Arango assisting, before Nicolás Betancur and Pooja Verma fought, coincidental majors, and Rahul Nair restored Mumbai's lead on the power play at 2:23, Ananya Kulkarni assisting. 2-1 after forty.

The third was Mumbai's. Rohan Deshmukh converted a power play at 2:54, Priya Sharma assisting, and Kavya Iyer made it 4-1 at 8:25, Aditya Rao with the feed, before Luciana Vélez pulled Medellín within two, 9:36, Sebastián Cardona assisting. Final: 4-2, Mumbai comfortable from the second period onward.

NRB 5 — MTL 4

Quel match! The Ochre Reserve produced nine goals and a shootout, close to the modest home favoritism, 1.47 to 2.7. James Odhiambo scored in regulation and added the shootout winner.

Peter Kimani opened the scoring at 6:45, Akinyi Ochieng assisting, after Dmitri Volkov and Moses Okello fought, coincidental majors. 1-0 after twenty.

The second went to Montréal. Amélie Bouchard tied it early, 1:29, Dmitri Volkov assisting, before Simon Côté put the Maples ahead on the power play at 3:47, Jean-René Bergeron assisting, and Catherine Lavoie extended it at 11:34, Alexandre Paquette returning the assist. 1-3 after forty.

The third was a four-goal Nairobi rally. Dennis Wafula converted a power play at 4:53, Faith Wanjiru assisting, but Élodie Gagnon answered for Montréal, 8:04, Marc-Antoine Dufresne assisting. Upset. The Last Terminal was a coin flip on the odds board—Vladivostok at 1.88, Winnipeg at 1.93—and a twenty-two-hit night went the visitors' way.

Brody Flett opened the scoring at 4:12, Leah Blacksmith assisting, after Jonas Brevik and Maxim Petrov fought, five and five. 0-1 after twenty.

The second was scoreless and physical—Yelena Pavlova and Anna Flett both visiting The Sixth—the hits piling up on both sides. 0-1 after forty.

The third was Winnipeg's for most of the way. Leah Blacksmith and Igor Zaytsev fought early, matching majors, before Jake Fehr converted at 3:11, Tyler Chicken assisting, and Anna Flett doubled the lead at 4:44, Tara Ridsdale with the feed. Maxim Petrov got Vladivostok on the board late, 12:02, Olga Smirnova assisting. Final: 1-3—Winnipeg's road upset, settled by a two-goal third period.

ANC 3 — PRA 1

The Watch Station produced a result close to the odds board, Anchorage at 1.88 to Prague's 1.93, in a nineteen-hit, five-fight night.

The first period was scoreless and combustible—Cody Tulik and Martin Procházka fought, coincidental majors, and Barbora Králová and Kira Naluktaq followed with another set, five and five.

Carlos Medina opened the scoring for Anchorage in the second, 1:06, Kira Naluktaq assisting, before Tomáš Novák tied it for Prague, 5:13, Kateřina Dvořáková assisting. Mason Kluane and Barbora Králová fought late, coincidental majors. 1-1 after forty.

The third belonged to Anchorage. Heather Braund put the Auroras ahead at 5:14, Jake Hensley assisting, after Barbora Králová and Isaiah Tobin fought, matching majors. Molly Kavairlook extended the lead at 7:32, Kira Naluktaq picking up her second assist, before Tara Alexie and Lucie Šťastná closed out the fighting with one more set, offsetting majors. Final: 3-1, Anchorage comfortable from the second period onward.

STO 3 — HEL 0

Upset. The Still Strait was supposed to favor Helsinki—1.37 to Stockholm's 3.13—but the Sirens delivered a shutout built on special teams in the third.

The first period was scoreless and hit-heavy, Elin Sjöberg and Albin Nordlund setting the physical tone early.

Oscar Söderström broke it open in the second, 2:28, Saga Ekström assisting, in a period that was almost entirely hits—twenty-four for the night between both sides—but no further scoring. 1-0 after forty.

The third belonged to Stockholm's power play. Albin Nordlund converted with the man advantage at 10:43, Elin Sjöberg returning the assist, after Jenni Laine, Petteri Salonen, and Anniina Tuominen all visited The Sixth. Filip Nyström added a second power-play goal at 12:32, Maja Forsberg assisting. Final: 3-0—the heaviest underdogs of the matchday deliver the biggest upset, a clean sheet against the league's best favorite.

RIM 4 — WEL 2

Upset. The Coastal Pavilion was supposed to favor Wellington—1.73 to Rimini's 2.12—but Valentina Colombo's two-goal, one-assist night sent the Kahurangi home empty-handed.

Anahera Reid opened the scoring for Wellington at 4:07, Liam Tomoana assisting, but Nico De Luca tied it for Rimini at 5:37, Alessandro Conti assisting, and Valentina Colombo put the Rinklers ahead on the power play at 8:26, Elena Moretti with the feed. 2-1 after twenty.

Olivia Rangi tied it for Wellington early in the second, 4:14, Rāwiri Patel assisting, but Valentina Colombo restored Rimini's lead late, 14:05, Sofia Barbieri assisting. 3-2 after forty.

The third was Rimini's. Alessandro Conti and Kauri Thompson fought early, coincidental majors, before Luca Ferretti sealed it at 3:46, Colombo completing her three-point night. Final: 4-2—Rimini's home upset, Valentina Colombo the story of the night.

CAI 3 — JBG 0

Upset. The Pyramid Basin was supposed to favor Johannesburg—1.77 to Cairo's 2.06—but the Crocodiles delivered a shutout that built steadily across all three periods.

Karim Fahmy opened the scoring at 12:43, Salma Ibrahim assisting, for the only goal of a hit-heavy first period.

The second was scoreless, mostly hits on both sides—Habiba Sherif and Nour El-Sayed keeping the pressure on Johannesburg's attackers.

The third belonged to Cairo. Khaled Naguib doubled the lead at 10:53, Farida Abdel-Rahman assisting, and Youssef Mansour completed the shutout at 13:02, Naguib returning the assist for his second point of the night. Final: 3-0—Cairo's home upset, a complete defensive performance against the favorites.

MCM 3 — SAO 2

Upset. The Remote Range was supposed to favor São Paulo—1.52 to McMurdo's 2.56—but the Monoliths tied it late in regulation and won it in overtime.

Chris Elliot opened the scoring at 10:25, Ingrid Solheim assisting, but São Paulo answered twice—Gustavo Ribeiro at 11:32, Isabela Costa assisting, and Bruno Nascimento at 12:28, Felipe Carvalho with the feed. 1-2 after twenty.

The second was quiet, mostly hits on both sides. 1-2 after forty.

Yumi Takeda tied it for McMurdo on the power play in the third, 3:44, Amira Hassan assisting, after Larissa Souza visited The Sixth. 2-2 into overtime.

Amira Hassan won it at 7:52, Tobias Frey returning the assist. Final: 3-2—McMurdo's home upset, settled in the extra frame.

GDL 9 — HAV 4

Quelle nuit! El Rincón Perdido produced thirteen goals, close to the odds board, Guadalajara at 1.86 to Havana's 1.95. Valentina Ramírez finished with three goals and an assist; Andrés Rojas with three assists.

Valentina Ramírez opened the scoring eighteen seconds in, Sofía Navarro assisting, but Mailén Domínguez tied it for Havana at 1:34, Reinier Cruz with the feed. Rodrigo Vargas put Guadalajara back ahead at 9:22, Ramírez returning the assist, and Emilio Delgado made it 3-1 at 12:05, Daniela Salazar assisting. 3-1 after twenty.

The second produced six goals. Valentina Ramírez scored her second at 2:50, Andrés Rojas assisting, before Havana answered twice—Lázaro Valdés at 6:09, Claudia Pérez assisting, and Yoandri Hernández at 6:20, Adonis Reyes with the feed. The Red Furnace produced a result close to the modest home favoritism, 1.68 to 2.2, Riley Dawson's two-goal, one-assist night leading a comfortable Perth win.

The second was Perth's. Liam O'Brien doubled the lead at 2:21, Sienna Kapoor assisting, and Riley Dawson made it 3-0 at 8:04, Tahlia Nguyen with the feed. The Sandy Parlor produced a result close to the odds board, Dakar at 1.89 to Ushuaia's 1.92, Mamadou Guèye's two-goal, one-assist night the difference.

Le Council acknowledges that Matchday 10 occurred. Five results were inconsistent with pre-game expectations.
