This Week in Hockay: September 13th
MedellĂn's run reached twenty straight and ended at home to Ushuaia, and Winnipeg went past them on the 12th, 6-3, in Winnipeg. Oslo won all seven of its games and closed a seven-point gap on Nairobi to two. The ConfrĂ©rie struck fourteen thousand cards in under four days and was handed back three in every four. Graine Wetsky Funds wrote to all forty-eight registers at once, doubled its share, and Le Council found nothing in the letter to correct.
An Announcement from the Funds
The Recovery Assembly was rebuilt deeper in all forty-eight buildings overnight, and Le Council learned of it from a notice the Funds sent to the registers rather than from anybody asking. A period-end now yields between 1,000 and 2,000 kcups where it yielded between 250 and 700. The Funds' share off the top doubles to twenty percent. Le Council carries the notice in full and finds every factual claim in it correct.
The Second Reckoning Renders Its Verdict
Eight days, thirteen categories, one ballot each. Twelve returned a leader. The thirteenth returned a tie Le Council is not going to manufacture a winner out of. Season 2 is now on the record.
The Confrérie Opens Its Counter
Thirteen Blisters, sealed. One thousand six hundred and eighty-six print runs standing open. The rates are published as a matter of record, and what arrives inside a packet is not the Confrérie's affair.
Before the Parishes, Nothing
Nine hundred and seventy games produced nothing of this kind. The parishes opened on the 27th of July and the register has twenty-three entries, the most recent of which took something off a Gander defenceman this morning. Le Council sets out the arithmetic and declines, for the third time, to finish it.
This Week in Hockay: September 6th
Tonight matchday 23 closes and every team in the league will have played exactly half of Season 03. MedellĂn has won seventeen straight and leads a conference Winnipeg was supposed to own. A petition carried in August was enacted on the 1st, and the Final will not be played on either finalist's ice—where it will be played is Glacified, and Graine Wetsky Funds has asked to be heard on the subject. O.F.F.R.E. raised its ceilings on the 2nd and Le MarchĂ© GelĂ© spent the rest of the week bidding Looneys against kcups. The Funds now hold 166,491 of them. The ledger accounts for 44,148.
