This Week in Hockay: July 26th
Le Council named the two forms of ice it had been refusing to name, and in naming them divided the league in half—La Conférence du Verglas and La Conférence du Givre. The sort came out twenty-four and twenty-three, and the missing arena turned up three thousand meters beneath the North Atlantic. The Exchange now lists all forty-eight clubs, twenty-four of which opened for trading this morning. Five matchdays remain, one playoff berth is being contested by roughly half the league, and at The Pyramid Basin, Cairo and McMurdo combined for eighteen goals.
This Week in Hockay: July 19th
Eighteen new arenas manifested in eight days, pushing the league from twenty-nine to forty-seven—and Le Council's own forecast has, for the first time all season, come up empty. Boréal Salt Co.'s wealth-tax holiday keeps every balance in Hockay untouched through July 23rd. The regular season is running down its final matchdays, and Le Council's attention has visibly begun drifting toward what comes after it. And at the bottom of the world, the McMurdo Monoliths put together the strangest week of anyone's season, four straight upsets sandwiched between two losses that made no sense next to them.
This Week in Hockay: July 12th
Five new arenas have manifested and just as quickly gone quiet—Oahu, Cuzco, Singapore, Monaco, and Tehran, all Level V now, all registered. An independent institute has confirmed the ice is speaking in two distinct voices, and disclosed, in the same breath, that Graine Wetsky Funds funded the instruments and bought into all five before anyone else could. New badges now recognize the fans building real positions on the Exchange—large enough, at the top, to force the Funds back out entirely. And on the ice, no one had a stranger week than Cairo's Layla Mostafa, caught in the middle of a miracle comeback, an overtime heartbreak, and two shutouts, all in the same seven matchdays.

The Hall of Fame has ten new names in it, added without a ceremony. Five sites have advanced to Level IV—Convergence, and Le Council's instruments are reading two things at once. Permafrost Assurance is doubling every winning bet—but only for a few hours more. And on the ice, Medellín cannot stop winning on the road.

The first Consultation ballot is open and the count is Glacified. The Exchange has moved in ways the community noticed—and is asking about loudly—because Graine Wetsky Funds is doing something, and Le Council is not saying what. P.A.T.I.N., meanwhile, has a new partner. Their opening move was to buy the room a round.
This Week in Hockay: June 21st
The postseason is sealed. Season 02 is six matchdays old. And this week, Hockay grew a financial system: the shavings now sell by the kcup, the teams now trade by the share. Le Council notes, with what composure it can muster, that the era of the open hand has given way to the era of the curve. Next week, for the first time, Le Council intends to ask you something.
