This Week in Hockay: October 25th
Season 04 is six matchdays old. Eight teams have won five of six, and the champions have won two. Defenders, who scored a third of Season 03, have scored eighteen goals. Round 4.0 sold every share it put up, for Ⱡ34.4 billion, and the prices on the board fell as Le Council said they would. At 23:01 last night, somebody left a board at the door.
This Week in Hockay: October 11th
Winnipeg won Season 03, 13-12, twenty-one minutes into overtime, on neutral ice that gave every shaving to the Funds. Nairobi tied the Final with one second left in regulation. Kyiv reached a conference final in their first season, and Oslo did not. The Jambono resurfaced fifty-eight citizens. The bin opened, and Series ∞ was agreed. The Tribunal convenes tomorrow, on the night of the first All-Star game. Season 04 opens on the 19th.
This Week in Hockay: October 4th
The last day of the regular season counted twice, and Oslo took the Givre from Nairobi by a point. Eighteen teams skated in the first postseason of sixteen, both drawn Wildcard visitors won, and both third seeds are gone. The Funds put their name to the allegiance vote in thirty-one registers. Forty-six registers declined. Two did not: Busan and Helsinki. The Final will be played on neutral ice on the 10th.
This Week in Hockay: September 27th
Medellín won six and took a point from the seventh, Winnipeg lost their last three, and the two points between them now run the other way. Nairobi can no longer be caught, and Atlantis won seven of seven. More than a sheet and a half of ice crossed the boards, a third of it went to the Funds, and they finished the week at nineteen-twentieths of a sheet. The first holdings were forfeited on the 24th. For the first time, The Ice let a name go.
This Week in Hockay: September 20th
Winnipeg and Medellín both won six of seven, and the two points between them did not move all week. Ten teams in the Givre sit inside four points of one another. R.I.N.K. weighed a regulation sheet and published a number nobody asked for, and the price of a kcup quadrupled in six days. The register learned two new names and, with them, all five grades.
This Week in Hockay: September 13th
Medellín's run reached twenty straight and ended at home to Ushuaia, and Winnipeg went past them on the 12th, 6-3, in Winnipeg. Oslo won all seven of its games and closed a seven-point gap on Nairobi to two. The Confrérie struck fourteen thousand cards in under four days and was handed back three in every four. Graine Wetsky Funds wrote to all forty-eight registers at once, doubled its share, and Le Council found nothing in the letter to correct.
