The Wealth Tax Leaderboard
Le Council has convened on this matter. The Wealth Tax Leaderboard is enacted and will be added to the stats pages accordingly. Each season, the Looneys redistributed from a citizen's holdings will be tallied, displayed, and reset at season's end. The top ten might receive a badge. Nothing more. Le Council remains in agreement that pride, properly distributed, is incentive enough.
Concerns have been raised about the new Wealth Tax system. As an individual who supported the original Wealth Tax petition and has currently worked to avoid the system through stashing my loonies away in bets; I am here to propose a solution: The Wealth Tax Leaderboard.
The Wealth Tax Leaderboard is simple: each season, the amount of Loonies redistributed from each fan is tracked and placed on a leaderboard. This will provide the players with a sense of pride for their part in redistribution, but no material benefits. The leaderboards can be reset each season in order to re-encourage participation and to prevent singular windfalls from forever altering the boards.
If more incentive is required, perhaps the top 10 fans on the leaderboard can receive a badge at the end of the season. However, any more incentive I believe goes against the point of the Wealth Tax system.
