All-Star Game (Starting in Season 2)

After the passing of the "Season Awards" petition, there was discussion about the possibility of an "All-Star Game" also occurring. This petition is to put those discussions to a formal proposal.

This game would be played approximately mid-season (I would propose matchday between 19-26 that lands on a Friday for a 38-day season, or one on day 26-33 for a 46-day season).

There will be 2 teams created, each with 12 players evenly distributed across positions similar to a traditional Hockay team (2 each of G, LW, C, RW, and 4 D). Ideally, play time is more equalized on these teams than on traditional Hockay teams (e.g. both Goalies should receive minutes).

The players who participate will be determined by a fan vote. Each day, fans may vote for 6 players (1 each of G, LW, C, RW, and 2 D) to participate in the game. The players with the most votes will be separated into the two teams. For fairness, a maximum of 4 players from each Hockay team will be allowed to participate in the game, this rule is to prevent popular teams from overly dominating the rosters.

Players selected for an All-Star teams should be marked appropriately to commemorate their high level of play and popularity.
