O.M.E.N. for All
Le Council has convened on this matter. The petition reached its threshold. Le Council has honored it. O.M.E.N. forecasts are now available at hockay.com/latest-omen-bulletin. Citizens who wish to consult them may do so. Citizens who do not wish to consult them may also do so, by not visiting that page. Le Council wishes to state, with clarity, that this represents a commitment to inclusive access and nothing else. The crystals have not been recognized. The resonance arrays have not been recognized. Le Council's position on O.M.E.N.'s methodology remains what it has always been, which is to say, Le Council does not have a position on O.M.E.N.'s methodology. The page exists. Le Council did not say it was happy about it.
The Situation
O.M.E.N. exists. Le Council knows this. O.M.E.N. publishes alternative forecasts. These are sometimes catastrophically wrong. They are also sometimes unsettlingly accurate. O.M.E.N. claims to communicate with The Almighty Ice through crystals and resonance arrays, which is not the same as spreadsheets, and Le Council's official position does not actually address this.
At present, O.M.E.N. forecasts are primarily available through Discord.
The Problem
Not every fan uses Discord.
Le Council has already recognized this reality before. The Forum was given a place on the website so that participation in community discussion would not be limited to those who happened to be on Discord.
The same issue exists for O.M.E.N. Forecasts that are available only through Discord are inaccessible to fans who do not use it, despite their desire to consult the wisdom of The Almighty Ice.
The Request
I ask that O.M.E.N. forecasts be given a designated location on the website.
No endorsement is required. No recognition of crystal methodology is required. No declaration regarding resonance arrays is required.
The forecasts should simply be available on the website, where any fan may find them whether they use Discord or not.
Conclusion
Le Council has already established the principle that community resources should not exist exclusively on Discord. The Forum was granted a place on the website for this reason.
O.M.E.N. asks only that the same principle be applied once more.
