Track Net Worth of Fans

There can be no doubt that some fans of this marvellous sport have found themselves in the possession of vast quantities of Looneys. And so, we have had the leaderboard. But with the advent of the markets and the wealth tax, the leaderboard is rapidly failing to truly answer the question of how much the richest Hockay fans are truly worth.

My proposal is this: an additional metric is calculated for each fan, this being their “net worth” calculated as the sum of all the Looneys they hold, plus the value of all their current wagers, plus the current value of their holding in the exchange. I would like this metric displayed on player pages, as well as on a new leaderboard displaying the top players by net worth, which would be placed with the others on the stats page.

To be clear, I am not suggesting any changes to the wealth tax at this time. The current leaderboard of fans with the most liquid Looneys, the wealth tax, and the wealth tax leaderboard all serve a purpose, and should remain unchanged. It is simply that now that there is more of an incentive than ever not to hold on to your Looneys, I would like to have the data on the true wealth of players more easily accessible.
