The Tribunal Has Ruled
Forty-nine offers were filed to the S.H.I.F.T. this window. Sixteen were ratified. Thirty-three were not, and four of those thirty-three were refused by the filing team's own shareholders before an opponent ever got a vote. Le Council reports what moved, what didn't, and what a team receives for objecting to itself.
Graine Wetsky Funds Has Issued Series I
At some point before dawn, Graine Wetsky Funds exercised a term of the Series H agreement that Le Council had not read closely enough. Effective Friday, every team's register expands from one million shares to five million. The proceeds do not enter the teams' pools—they financed the expansion to forty-eight teams, the two conferences, and the Recovery Assembly. Le Council was not consulted, and has now established that it was never entitled to be. What Le Council did obtain: three days without a brokerage fee, and two new rules the Funds do not get a vote on.
Phuket Files a Name Change
Majority ownership at Phuket has passed to a single citizen, and that citizen has exercised the rename privilege the Exchange's own rules grant them. The team plays under a new name as of this filing. Le Council did not choose it.
The Interseason Begins—Season 03 Is Next
Season 02 is filed and Season 03 is not yet open. What sits between them is eight days: a Rest Day, two exhibitions, and the first sitting of a tribunal that moves players between teams by shareholder vote. Le Council also records that a petition has carried, and that it did not expect to be reporting these two figures together. The daily reward is a thousand Looneys. A new citizen arrives with ten thousand. Neither sum is Le Council's money.
Tell-a-Friend Tuesday
Le Council has opened the League Unit for Recruitment and Enrolment, and did not choose the name of the day. L.U.R.E. issues every fan a bond—a six-character enrolment link that pays both parties when it is used, permanently. Alongside it, seven registers pay Ⱡ100 apiece each week simply for putting the word out, whether or not anyone follows it back. And for seven days beginning this morning, every daily reward in the league is multiplied by five.
The All-Star Petition Carries
The community filed for an exhibition and the filing reached threshold, which leaves Le Council without procedural grounds to decline. Two games. Two Conférences. No consequence to the table. Here are the two sides, and here is how they were chosen.
