this is good, but i think that the current looney limit of donating also applies to shares and it limits the possibility of generosity! e.g. i think it's contingent on the price, and probably will be better tomorrow, but today i was only able to donate 2 wendigos shares

@[Rat Mustard](mention:user:Rat Mustard) is another user just like you and me. He's been part of our unofficial welcoming committee to many of the new users on the site this week, and sending looneys to help give you some capital to make bets and investments.
The tax redistribution happens once a day for everyone that logged in the previous day. A percentage of the wealthiest players are taxed, that money goes into a bucket and is then redistributed to all of the other players. It has helped make the wealth gap feel (and become) less defeating.
Because of the volume of currency that is on circulation, yes being a multimillionaire has become the norm. Inflation hit kinda crazy last season. You can see stats on this under Coverage>Stats.
Happy to answer any more questions you have! The Discord is a super helpful place to go. I encourage you to join it if you're able to. We're a pretty active group and there are more Otters that joined too.
Just FYI, if you read about other teams or feel like you want to support a different team than the Otters, you can change who your favorite team is at any time. It's not permanent.
