After Blaseball, there is Hockay.
Blaseball ended in 2023. Its fans have found a Blaseball alternative here. Hockay is a free, simulated hockey league: 48 teams, a game every hour, and a seat for you.
“It’s not Blaseball, but it’s a hell of a lot of fun.”
Blaseball is not back. Hockay is not its revival.
It is another league, on different ice, that some Blaseball fans now call home.
As of October 2026, The Game Band has made no announcement. The Blaseball wiki keeps the record of what happened there.

What you will find here
You watch
You do not play. The players are on the ice; you are a fan. This is not a demotion. The fans are the point.

Every citizen starts with Looneys. Bet them on games, or buy shares in teams on The Exchange. Le Council does not guarantee returns.

r/Blaseball · u/KindIncident Blaseball lives on in what it has inspired
Hockay is inspired by, but does not pretend to be Blaseball. It occupies a similar intersection of fantasy sports and the Back Rooms/unsettling absurdist cosmic horror without trying to be something it’s not. As the curtain rises on S04, give it a try: it’s not Blaseball, but it’s a hell of a lot of fun.

“The discord really brings the league to life. Adding a social layer to discuss games in real time, and get to know the personalities of fellow fans (and rival enemies) really makes it feel like a splort community”
~andrew~, fan of the Kyiv Kestrels · on Discord r/Blaseball · u/WarEagle34 Been fun to check in and adopt a new team. Gives me a lot of vibes similar to what I felt back in 2020, especially a welcoming community. I’d definitely recommend giving it a chance if you have a splort-shaped hole in your heart. Be blessed by The Ice my brothers.

Questions, answered
Is Blaseball coming back in 2026?
As of October 2026, The Game Band has made no announcement. Blaseball ended on June 2, 2023.
Is Hockay a Blaseball alternative?
For many Blaseball fans, it has become one. It is its own league, not a copy: you watch simulated games, bet money that is not money, and change the league through petitions. The fans gather on Discord, Bluesky, and r/hockay.
Is Hockay made by the people who made Blaseball?
No. Hockay has no affiliation with The Game Band. It is a separate project.
Is Hockay free?
Yes. Everything in the league runs on Looneys, and Looneys cost nothing. La Caisse, a membership owned by the fans who join it, is optional. So is the merch.
Do I need to know hockey?
No. The games simulate themselves. You need to know which team is yours. The rest arrives on its own.
When are the games?
One game at the top of every hour, all day, every day, in UITC. A season lasts about seven weeks: 46 matchdays, then the playoffs.
Where do Hockay fans talk?
On Discord, on Bluesky, and on r/hockay. H.O.R.N. posts every goal to Discord and Bluesky.
