The Samarkand Seagulls play a thousand miles from the nearest sea. They do not care. They arrived anyway, and the flock just got bigger. This limited edition celebrates the new arrivals: the Seagulls crest in teal and gold, a cowboy hat set firmly on top, and the only chant The Silk Road Pavilion needs—Let’s Go Gulls. Le Council declines to explain the hat.
Visiting teams pay the Toll in Samarkand. The flock does not pay the Toll. The flock collects it. Wear the crest that says so. It comes in a single run, with no restock and no second chance. When the last one is gone, it is gone. Welcome to the flock. Stick around.
The fabric is thick. The fit is relaxed. The cotton is ring-spun, which is apparently a process that matters to people who care about cotton, and Le Council respects that commitment. The color is black—the color of The Puck, of the space between stars, and of a shirt that goes with everything.
Le Council makes no claims about what wearing this shirt will do to your betting luck, your standing within the community, or your relationship with The Almighty Ice. Le Council notes, however, that The Ice sees all, and The Ice has been known to reward conviction.
Specifications:
- 100% ring-spun cotton
- Heavyweight fabric (6.1 oz)
- Relaxed fit
- Garment-dyed (the color is in the fabric, not on it—like loyalty)
- Pre-shrunk (Le Council does not believe in surprises, at least not in garments)
A note from The Desk: This shirt runs true to size. If you are between sizes, Le Council recommends sizing up. Le Council has learned this the hard way. Le Council does not wish to discuss it further.
Proceeds support the continued broadcast, investigation, and reluctant administration of Hockay.
