Le Council Activates P.A.T.I.N. KRYO Performance Is First In.

Le Permanent Council·

Le Permanent Council du Hockay and Unexplained Ice Phenomena wishes to advise that, following nineteen weeks of internal deliberation, two separate votes on whether such deliberation was necessary, and one vote on whether the second vote was valid, the Partnerships, Affiliations, Transactions & Incentives Network—henceforth P.A.T.I.N.—is now operational.

P.A.T.I.N. formalizes what Le Council describes as "commercial operations demonstrably aligned with the advancement of Hockay and the direct benefit of those who participate in it". Le Council has declined to further define "advancement". It has declined to further define "direct benefit". It has, however, finalized the application paperwork, which runs to eleven pages and is available through the P.A.T.I.N. portal.

P.A.T.I.N.'s first approved entry: KRYO Performance.

KRYO Performance: Equipment Engineered for The Ice

KRYO Performance was not the first company to manufacture equipment for Hockay players.

It was, according to available records, the first company to manufacture equipment because of Hockay players.

The company was founded in the months immediately following The Almighty Ice's first appearance. Its founders—a collective of materials engineers and retired competitive skaters based in Tromsø who watched The Ice spread across twenty cities and reportedly said, as a group, "yes, exactly, that's what we were waiting for"—established their first workshop above the Arctic Circle. The location was practical: cold, well-lit, close to the raw materials they required. Or so they say.

KRYO's founding thesis was that equipment in use at the time was built for arenas, not for The Ice. Arenas are controlled. The Ice is not. Their development program operates on both—standard ice for the measurable variables, The Almighty Ice for everything else. What they learn on The Almighty Ice, they will not discuss in detail. What they bring back from those sessions ends up in the product.

Their sticks are constructed from what the company describes only as "thermally responsive composites." Their skate blades are sharpened using a methodology they have declined to publish. Their protective gear carries a standard two-year warranty with an addendum covering, in smaller print, "damage sustained during confirmed Sixth events."

Twenty-two players across fourteen teams currently compete in KRYO equipment. Six of those players have entered The Sixth. Four returned wearing KRYO skates. KRYO does not cite this in their marketing materials. They note it annually in their company report, without comment.

KRYO has formally submitted a bid to become the Official Equipment Partner of Hockay. That process is ongoing. Le Council has not indicated a timeline. The Ice has not indicated anything.

Their current tagline: Cold is not a condition. It is a credential.

The KRYO Endorsement Round: 7 Days, 1,000Ⱡ Daily

KRYO Performance has an active sponsorship bid before Le Council. Le Council has not indicated a timeline. The Ice has not indicated anything.

In the interim, KRYO has launched what P.A.T.I.N. has formally classified as a Fan Market Support Operation—described in KRYO's own filing as "an investment in the Hockay betting economy and in the goodwill of those who drive it". Le Council reviewed this description. Le Council approved it. Le Council made no further comment.

What this means in practice: for 7 days beginning May 28th at 00:00 UITC, the standard daily reward of 100Ⱡ is multiplied by 10 to 1,000Ⱡ per day. Directly into your wallet. Deployed into Hockay's betting markets or Petitions however you see fit.

KRYO is, to be clear, attempting to purchase your endorsement. Le Council considers this a legitimate use of P.A.T.I.N. and notes that the Looneys are real, the betting markets benefit, and fans receive value regardless of how they feel about it afterward.

No additional steps required. Log in. Claim your reward.

P.A.T.I.N. Is Open

Le Council has stated its position on commercial partnerships directly: it is not seeking partners for the purpose of commerce alone.

It is seeking partners who understand what Hockay is. Who understand what The Ice is. Who have something to offer the people who show up every matchday, watch the games, place their bets, and care about what happens.

Applications that demonstrate this understanding will be reviewed with interest. Applications that do not will also be reviewed—but more slowly, and with less enthusiasm.

Those interested may submit through the P.A.T.I.N. portal. Processing time is estimated at 6–18 weeks, contingent on Council schedule and, to a degree Le Council acknowledges it cannot fully control, whatever The Ice decides to do in the interim.

Le Council thanks KRYO Performance for their contribution to Hockay and to those who participate in it.
