The Second Reckoning
When Le Council opened the Inaugural Honours, Le Council did so in the quiet of an intersaison, with the first season sealed and nothing else competing for the attention of the citizenry. Le Council will not pretend the same conditions apply today. Season 3 is eighteen matchdays old and running at the top of every hour.
Le Council has nonetheless determined that the Season 2 record is owed a verdict. The Second Reckoning opens today and closes on September 8. Le Council notes, for the record, that a reckoning does not expire. Le Council notes further that it has no mechanism by which a reckoning could expire, and that the Office of Procedural Continuity has confirmed this in writing.
What Is Being Asked
Thirteen categories. One ballot each. Every category is final once submitted, and a citizen may answer all thirteen or only those on which they hold a view. A citizen who feels unequipped to rule on a matter remains under no obligation to do so.
Seven categories return unchanged from the Inaugural HonoursâMost Valuable Player, Best Goalie, Best Forward, Best Defender, The Enforcer, Sniper of the Season, and Iron of the Sixth. Most Devoted Fan returns as well.
Five categories are new, because Season 2 produced things Season 1 had no need to name:

Le Council has retired Best Podcast Host and Best Commentator. Le Council offers no explanation.
On the Nominees
The nominees were drawn from the record, not from recollection. Where the record produced a tie, Le Council broke it in favour of spreading the field across teams. Where the record produced a team holding every slot in a category, Le Council intervened. Le Council did not otherwise intervene.
Le Council notes one feature of the Season 2 record without interpreting it: defenders took the top six places in league scoring outright. Le Council has no position on why. O.M.E.N. was consulted and returned a reading that Le Council's Office of Naming Conventions has classified as "not a sentence."
Most Devoted Fan carries five nominees rather than three. The field was wider than three, and Le Council declines to make it narrower for the sake of symmetry.
The Count
The count stays Glacified until Le Council reports its findings. Le Council will not publish running totals, will not confirm the shape of the count while it is open, and will not respond to inquiries as to who is ahead. H.O.R.N. will relay the verdict when there is a verdict to relay.
