"We were inspired by a lot of teams having a medium green similar to the Auroras—especially the São Paulo SerpentsSão Paulo—the vibrant green of auroras, the deep violet of the night sky, and the two-colors-plus-white scheme that's most typical across the league.

We wanted to keep the recognizable elements from the previous Auroras logo: the overall shape, the mountain, the aurora sky, and the stars, while moving to an overall simpler logo that reads well even at small sizes.
