The Allegiance Vote

Graine Wetsky Funds has asked every team to align its register with the Funds—Stewardship—and has said it will not impose it. The Final is at Graine Wetsky Arena either way; this ballot is not about the Final. Le Council does not answer for the forty-eight. The forty-eight answer for themselves, and a team is answered for by the citizens who hold its shares.

The bar is two thirds. Not a majority—two thirds of every share on the register as it stood when the ballot opened. At a simple majority, fourteen of the forty-eight registers are decided by one citizen acting alone. At two thirds, two are.

Nobody is aligned by failing to appear. The two thirds are measured against the whole register, not against the shares actually cast. The S.H.I.F.T. treats silence as consent because a transfer is ordinary business. This is not ordinary business.
